I kind of like the 20th Century art, because of the fact that Abstractionism is made through as an introduction for this era. Mostly styles of art was reinforced and provided a unique way of creating techniques of their predecessor. Expressionism from the Modern Art has made a better interpretation using lines and colors as their subject matter. Distortions of image is what they showcase most, providing a very abstract-y images that will make you think out of their artworks, but portrays an outstanding art, what intrigues me the most is that, how did they come up with such image, and I imagine their faces when they are on the progress of finishing the output, and how they come up with such imagery.
What I love about this era, they exemplifies a unique style of Surrealism, which means Beyond the real, the Dream-like state of a art that "wows" me much. I usually ask myself, "How did they do that?" "Can I do that too?". Like too much! It bumped me and what I learned from it, is to free your mind from it, concentrate on your artwork, bedazzle yourself from things, memories, and use your imagination as an artist, distorted depictions of a particular subject or an object, combination of environment.
Wow. Oh did I just said wow?
This kind of artworks is one of the greatest influence today, the progression of it. It really is inspiring.
